Finding Jobs Easily With Digital Point

There are many ways to make money online, and while not everyone is going to be searching for the same types of jobs, coming across a site that brings everyone together into one place is a must. For about a year I was searching and searching, finding a few sites here and there that were helpful in my search for new work; but nothing as great as Digital Point.

What makes DP (as those of us who have been there for a while call it) so great is its iTrader system. Basically, any time you work for someone or they offer their services to you; you have an opportunity to give them either a positive, neutral or negative iTrader. iTraders (and shorts comments about the transaction) are displayed on each individual’s profile, making them extremely easy to access and compare. I can’t tell you how much time this website has saved me. There is a huge list of job opportunities, all you have to do is reply to the person who’s posted looking for help (or offering help) and go from there.

While you’re not always going to get the jobs you want, there is a very good chance that you will, especially if you have great grammar and a positive attitude. Be sure to follow the instructions very carefully as oftentimes, people will say “PM me for more details” and many people will instead respond to the thread. That right off the bat can end up being a strike against you as far as that job is concerned. When responding to a job listing, take your time in coming up with exactly what it is you want to say. Think about some of your accomplishments that may relate to the job such as something you wrote in high school or college. Even if you don’t have much experience, come up with something fresh and new that you can share with potential clients. (I talk about writing a lot because that’s what I’m most familiar with, but this relates to web design or other jobs as well)

Since you don’t usually get to meet the people you work for online, it becomes extremely important to try to show your personality through your text. I used to think I was being corny by saying things like “I hope to hear from you soon” or “This seems like my kind of job. I love writing about (topic)” but it’s really paid off for me.

Show the people that you’re interested in working for how excited you are to be a part of this type of work. Be precise with everything you do and you’re going to go very far. Now, I’m not saying you’re going to become rich or anything but as you build up your client base and reputation, you’ll have many wonderful opportunities that come your way.
